Governing Bodies
THE BOARD
The governing body of the Foundation is the Board, which has powers of administration, management and representation of the Foundation. It is chaired by the Mayor and consists of the 13 town councillors. Membership of the Board is ex officio and, therefore, is an adjunct to the office of Town Councillor of Cardona.
The Board appoints the management Committee, consisting of three board members, whose duty is to carry out Board agreements and appoint the Foundation management.
THE SOCIAL COMMITTEE AND THE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE
The CHF has two advisory bodies:
- The Social Committee, consisting of people representing the tourist, commercial and business sectors of the town to provide advice on tourism management and external image of Cardona.
- The ComitĂ© CientĂfico, consisting of people of wide renown in the fields, and related subjects, of the historic, artistic, architectural, natural and documentary heritage of Cardona.
