THE VIA SALARIA

Nature trail, to enjoy on mountain bike or by foot, which takes us to the spot where the old livestock path ran through, crossing the area of Cardona in search of summer pastures in the mountains. The fact that, on passing through Cardona and its Salt warehouse, the shepherds took the opportunity to buy the salt needed for their herds, that road also became known as the via salaria, or the salt road. A route for discovering the passing of history written about the land, the rock and the roads, and for being enchanted by the course of the streams that accompany it.
